Loy Krathong is one of Thai traditions this festival is held in full moon day of twelfth month annually. At this time, the water in a river is high. It is a great time to float Krathong in order to thank the god of water for letting us consume the water.
Besides Yee Peng Festival at Chiang Mai, there are many Loy Krathong festival held throughout November as in Bangkok, Sukhothai, Tak, Ayuddhaya and Samut Sakorn.
